The Ride
As of today, 19th June 2013, we now have just over 5 weeks to go until we embark on probably the biggest challenge any of us have ever attempted.
I can now confirm that the route is done, all hotels are booked, all bikes are purchased and ready, training is almost complete, money has been raised, sat navs purchased, cameras purchased, energy drinks analysed, injuries had, tears seen and laughter heard!
AND WE ARE ALL STILL REARING TO GO

It has been brought to my attention that even though this site is informative, funny, moving, truthful and easy to navigate, there is a small piece of information missing!
When the ride actually is!!!!!!!!!
We depart London on the 31st of July and will at John O'Groats that evening. We then begin our 10 day cycle marathon (not snickers Palmer) on the 1st August 2013, which will be the One Year anniversary of Karl's passing.
We will then arrive at Lands End on the 10th August with our journey being complete.
I hope that clears it up for everyone:)
Well after some long discussions and lots of research it looks as though the route is almost, nearly, 95%, just about, pretty much, and close to being finalised!
Once Dan (the peddler) and Ben (the wheels on the bike go round and round) decide what exit to take on the 56th out of 98 roundabouts that we have to cross, the route will be done!
Dan wants to go left and Ben wants to go right, whereas the voice of reason who is Carl (how's ya saddle)Palmer stated "I ain't bovered which way we go as long as the roundabout has a drive thru Macdonalds!
